In August 2025, Greg will begin a Guinness World Record attempt for the fastest run of the Mississippi River — and share the story to mobilize champions, raise funds, and launch Run Far Clubs in all 50 states.
Our mission is to spark a nationwide movement for youth mental health.

Meet Greg
I lost my beloved Grandpa Charlie to a stroke. Overwhelmed by depression, I turned to alcohol and painkillers at age 16. A daily running ritual helped me stop the free fall — and overcome depression, get sober (13 years and counting), build an encouraging community, and explore parts of the world I only dreamed about.
I was lucky to earn scholarships to my dream schools, UChicago and Cambridge, and became a youth mentor to pay it forward. Organizations I’ve founded, Moneythink and Dyad Mentorship, helped students earn over $27 million in scholarships and have been recognized by the World Economic Forum and President Obama as a “Champion of Change.”
I’m amped to run the Mississippi River to inspire youth to dream big and keep showing up!
